Helping others from my injury lessons
A devastating ACL and meniscus injury motivated me to teach others
I tore my ACL and medial meniscus in a freak accident while playing softball in college. It was a cold day and I had not warmed up and prepared my body for intense sprinting that day, which may have played a part in the injury. The injury and recovery process motivated me to help others learn from my experience so that they can approach their sports and activities more safely and reduce the risk of big injuries.
